In the afternoon, in a conference room of the Business School in D±browa Górnicza an official presentation of the team roster for 2009/2010 season and new strategic sponsor Enion Energy Sp. Z.o.o. took place. Thanks to tightening of cooperation and signing of a contract with such a company, it will be possible to think much easier about the next few seasons. The team will also participate in the Women's Polish Volleyball League PlusLiga and CEV Indesit Champions League as ENION Energia MKS D±browa Górnicza.
The company, which has cooperated with MKS for a few years, has decided to firmly involve activity of club and after long negotiations signed up a sponsorship agreement which will be in force for three years. As president, Robert Karlik, said negotiations had started after the announcement of information that MKS received rights to participate at the CEV Indesit Champions League. During the simultaneous presentation and conference, representatives of MKS and other participants were told repeatedly that benefits of cooperation are mutual. Regarding this, expectations connected with the systematic rise and according to strategy established by the club after two seasons at women's volleyball league during MKS has strengthened their position, now there is time to realize higher goals which is to be among the four best teams in Poland and good performance at the first time in European competitions. The agreement was kept in secret but according to words spoken by ENION's president - Ireneusz Perkowski, conditions of agreement are flexible and rank and the amount of sponsorship depends on the results of the team. The agreement is not restricted only to the senior's team. In October there are going to start cadet's competitions which trophy will be Tauron Polska Energia Cup and they will be taking place within ¦l±skie and Małopolskie provinces. The best teams from both provinces will play in final of this competition. It will take place in the Centrum sports hall in D±browa Górnicza.
